The Mac version of Quicken is not as complete as the Windows version, leading to this question. Maybe Mountain Lion has compatibility issues. Possibly Sophos AV disabled Wineskin, but we could see nothing in Sophos saying so. Problem solved! So we paid Codeweavers $40 and registered. We put the edited data (from above) on a USB stick and imported it into Crossover Quicken. Crossover stayed in the Dock after reboot, allowing us to run Quicken. Everything installed easily with clear on-screen instructions. Wineskin appeared for a few seconds, then disappeared. Although data files were visible from Terminal, and Wineskin in the Dock, Quicken would not run. However after rebooting, it stopped working.
